Can't I get free hosting for my website?

There are several free web hosting services, as well as the “free” website you get from your Internet Service Provider (like AOL and Comcast), which you can use to create a web presence.

These services are a bad idea because:

The same can be said for any email account you may be using that does not end in your own domain name (ex: mike334453@aol.com instead of yourname@yourwebsite.com).

Every aspect of your communications with clients should convey your own branding and message. Tell them you're serious about your own business and about theirs.

Using a "free" email and hosting service says, "I'm fly-by-night, or too cheap to care about quality." Is that the message you're trying to convey?
